My Gameplan

I think I am off to a great start on my wardrobe makeover. I am still cleaning out my closet, brutally surveying each item for wearability as I go. I have found quite a few things I forgot I owned. Of course, there were a few items that I couldn't bring myself to give up but I was tough overall.

Reasons not to toss:
1) Sentimental = 4 garments
2) Want to eventually copy and reproduce = 12 garments
3) Seasonal or gorgeous = 8 garments
4) Good basics = 0 garments

They are all outta here... all of 'em!

Well, except a few camis can stay.

... and my jean skirt can stay. Oh yeah, my old comfy jeans can stay, but THAT'S IT... (this process is hard on a person!)

Okay. Quite a bit can stay long enough to get replaced LOL.
I'm feeling drained at this point, but the hardest part is done (the dust collectors are packed and ready to go to new homes)

My Gameplan:

Stage 1 - The closet cleanout
Stage 2 - New day to day winter/spring transitional basics including tees, yoga pants, sweats alternative, and a few run around cute tops
Stage 3 - Timmel SWAP (I think I have my jacket pattern pinned down this year!! plus it will be my first time entering *excited*)
Stage 4 - New day to day Summer basics

I have Vogue 8151 on the cutting table and a TNT Burda pant pattern waiting on the sidelines. I am so productive lately but itching to get on with the sewing already!
